I don't want to deal with it man. It's too much work to get my brand new car running, and I'm always going to be paranoid about it blowing up and stranding me, or getting hosed on a warranty claim and being out 10g's to repair it myself. I wonder if I can find an 07 Ltd anywhere.

I'm selling mine as well, as soon as I get it back from the dealership. I'm fed up with Subaru, and I will never buy one again. My s2k is currently being prepped for AS. I have a set of konis that needs to be installed, a 32 mil front sway bar, and a set of TR motorsport specific for the s2k.

If anyone is interested in buying a set of sti wheels with hoosiers mounted on 285x30x18 and an extra pair of brand new 285 30 18 hoosiers never mounted, let me know. I'm selling them real cheap.

Subaru needs to learn how to treat its customers better, and they need to borrow a page from Honda's reliability page book, when it comes to engine reliability and longevity.

My daily driver will be a 135 coupe bmw.

Anyway, there's an 01 z06 with my name on it in the classifieds. I'm taking the car in tomorrow to see if the dealer wants to buy it back.

Sorry to hear you're fed up with the 08 and moving on, I can't say I blame you, I'd probably be doing the same thing if it happened to me. I'm hoping I have better luck with the 08 I have on order.

It's not official yet. If I get robbed on the resale value I might keep it for a while longer. I only owe 22k on the loan now so hopefully I'll come out with a decent amount if I sell.

It's one thing when it happened on with my 07, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I picked up an 08, and what do you know? It happened again.

Fun fact: z06 insurance is less than STI insurance

Damn you were owning A-stock in the NNJR.

I used to autox like crazy there in STU in my 06 STI, but life has gotten in my way, to damn busy.

My buddies who autox always tell me your flying out there in the 08.

Sorry to hear man your having this much trouble. I just don't get subaru anymore and how unreliable they are leaving customers with brand new cars.

Mine is going on sale shortly after I get it back next week. I owe a little bit more than Wak (24k), but I won't care, if I'm taking a hit on it, as I want it gone. I won't buy a subaru product ever again, as I totally lost my confidence in them to produce something reliable.

This is nuts, as far as I can tell you guys were the only two around here autocrossing your '08s on a regular basis.

There's another NY/NNJ guy racing his white one. He placed 3rd at the DC Pro (and he's already on his second motor)

Not the stock 5 spokes, they are way too heavy, so I just use them for street driving. Here are the pics below when I got them from tirerack. The wheels are aprox 18.5 pounds.
