| Halliburton Mercenary | Nice. Have not seen too many of those on here yet. It's weird seeing the paint inside the door frame. I'm so used to seeing the seals since mine has no window frames. Now get some mud flaps on her and take that Patric logo off! Can't wait to see some graphs. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Dyno Numbers are in! Weapon of choice: COBB AccessPort v2.0 (thanks goes to Scott over at COBB) Stock: 210.9whp / 225wtq @ 15psi AMR (S1) Stage 1 ProTune: 256whp / 270wtq @ 17psi ![]() Notes: I am very impressed with the 2008 STi. Once I did the first pull on the car I knew it had potential. With some conservative tuning and only a couple pounds of boost we were able to punch out a 55whp increase and a jump of 45wtq. The fun started with the tuning of the new AVS Exhaust cam. The combination of AVCS INTAKE CAM tuning and AVCS EXHAUST CAM tuning gave us the ability to run very little timing and a AFR of 10.5 and still pull of such a nice gain. I could squeeze another 20whp but for a reliable, safe, fun STAGE 1. I feel that was a good enough gain. The car is very responsive and with the extended gearing makes the car an animal. More testing to come. -Rob |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Re: Turbo I canT really seem to see the numbers on the turbocharger unless we remove it from the vehicle. I acts similar to the past VF series. More to come once it is removed. But again, no time soon. Re: Engine Management We have completed our AMR-S1 OTS Maps for the 2008 STi for the COBB AP v2.0 and will have the same maps available for those using the UTEC DELTA and also the HYDRA unit. Updates will be listed on our website. Re: Update! The vehicle is amazing. I am falling in love more and more with the 2008 STi. The drivability is excellent. The S1 map is definitely a HUGE improvement throughout the entire RPM band. I can not seem to keep my foot from going down to the floor board . The AVCS exhaust cam, when tuned properly, is definitely a good weapon for increasing the efficiency of the engine and power increase. We will be working on a S2 (stage 2) map and new parts selection most likely next week. So look out for that. I will post up a video of the dyno runs, etc.. of the car in a few! Thank you for the comments!-Rob |
