Thumbs up Limited777's Journal • Cars TUNED! 385awhp ~ pump (pg11)

Story::

I had always loved subaru's and wanted one from the time i got my license. However when searching for a car the bug-eyes were out and I was test driving automatics. The Bug-eye just didn't drive right as an auto so I started to look other places. I ended up with a 2003 Anniversary GTI #219/4000 I modded this car to the life of it. I loved it and will never forget it. It was a great learning car though. I went from stereo and show to sleek and go. I learned a lot about the tuning world and the way the car worked.

Well it was time to graduate college and get something a little more powerful and sleek. As well as AWD. I started to browse my options. 07' S4 / 07' Volvo S60R / 07 STi Limited.

As i started to test drive and balance my options the sti was just seeming that much more realistic since i had loved them and always been around the, it was just my choice. I love Audis but bang for buck the S4 would have sucked for modding.

I lived with 3 other Subaru guys my senior year in college and that just made it that much easier to stay on the suby path. I lived with Mac323 and Irishsti as well as a buddy of NASIOC that drove a 99' RS. Living with these guys just pushed and pushed. So now it was time to find a Limited, being that it was Oct/Nov of 06' This was going to be an interesting task since they had been out. Well with my luck Mac323 and I were looking at the local dealers and what do you know the best one in my area still had one on the lot. I went to look at it and all around the car was my last name (literally). Haha Greg(Mac323) was pointing it out to me and telling me it was a sign haha turns out the salesman in the window next to the cars name was the same as my fathers. When I went to talk to someone about the car they didn't take me too serious but i wanted the car so I was just putting that aside he said he had someone looking at it and was waiting to hear on a loan so I would have to act fast.. who knows if that was true. Well with in 3 days I called and put the down payment on the car and picked it up the next week. The car was #777 just making it that much better haha.

I went to the dealership to talk to the owner about the warrantee. Knowing I was going to stick it in the garage all winter and not register it yet he agreed to give me an extra 6 months throu that dealer as long as I registered and serviced it there. I took the deal obviously. And walked away with a brand new limited and some all weather mats.

Okay now the to fun stuff::

i'm a graphic designer for the firm that souly does all of heinekens print promotional work. I have heineken stuff all over and work on it everyday. As well as a whole bunch of other everyday companies. Every now and then stuff pops up in my photos cuz its everywhere. Its actually magnetized so the bottle caps stick to it as magnets to hang ****. It went along with a dart board shaped bottle cap that was used at onsite events for ppl to throw bottle caps at and win stuff.

I looked for #777. Ended up with 696. Post pics after you get those springs and headlights done. How much further are you going to go w/ the performance mods?

headlights in process of being done. I am still thinking about sending them to Ceaser to get retrofitted. I am not sure yet. just taken them off for now while I decide. Good thing to do too there's some wax on the grill I have been wanting to get ate for sometime now.

the passenger headlight is still giving me some issues but my car is in a garage in a CarPocket™ so its a pain to get in to do the work. takes like 5min just to get to the car haha.
heres a cell phone pic of the car slightly unzipped. I have fleece sheets over the car where it touches the top just cuz I forgot to order a car cover as well. next year.

Great thing. keeps the moisture out and any unwanted pests. Mice and Bugs for winter storage.
MDM is local for me so i just had to go pick it up.
