Next looking into some shortblocks

Talked to Howard from AR real cool guy they make some killer SB's they use JE coated pistons they also up the compression so you can run lower boost.. $3800 for a new block or $2800 with Core Charge.. That or maybe a AXIS block... Not sure this if I do it for peaqce of mind will be when I add meth probably after the summer.. I really want to keep my APS TMIC and run 450-475WHP with Meth and my DOM 3.0R...

Right now just waiting on my DOM 3 from blouch should be here on Friday get that put on + Perrin Inlet+ APS 70mm+ TGV Deletes+ Crawford Air/Oil Sep+ My new Koyo Rad Bling Bling and a protune and see what happens just want the car to run strong... Clutch well I am gonna hold out for now, I have 14K no clutch issues with 355TQ to the wheels... anyway if I have to do one I will probably the ACT SB4 XT... Ahhhh it neverends I am ready to sell the house and get a studio, its like being on crack I cant stop...

Looks like I am onna order a Clutch.... Drinkin Beers and taking meds for my bum ankle = SPENDING MONEY... I figure I have to do the clutch anyway why not do it now so I dont leave anything on the table come tune day which should be next Friday...

I was gonna get a FMIC also but decided not to.. I want to stick to my original plan of running a TMIC and building a nice sleeper DD... So I think Meth is coming in the future that should help with any heatsoak issue's and get me to 425+WHP.. But really my main concern is not dyno numbers and this time around I will probably tell my tuner to finish the car up on a road tune I just want it to run strong..

So I will have updates by next week.. Still have to install my X-Brace and I want to clean my MAF sensor see if it helps out a bit my idle has been a little wacky lately..

New update.. I am going Meth gonna get the kit tomorrow gonna o with the Devils Own kit with two nozzle's run own in the TB and IC. So Meth will be great with the APS TMIC for sure, get tuned with the DOM 3R at about 25psi and now my new goal is for 425/425

Also gonna order the clutch and I should be all good to go.. Cant wait for next week when John tunes the SH*t out of my car on Meth......

Well ordered up the clutch today got the ACT-SB4-XTSS street disc but extreme duty. I talked to ACT and they said I could get away with the HDSS but it would be borderline and if I was gonna track the car at all which I want to do they said to be on the safe side go with the XT.. So I should get John to tune her on Saturday. This is the final list of new parts and a Protune:

Blouch DOM 3.0R - 8cm - Turbo Blanket
Perrin 2.4 inlet
70mm APS CAI
TGV deletes
Crawford Air/Oil Sep
Devils Own STG 2 Meth Kit running Two Jets
Spec C 12L Trunk Tank
ACT - XT CLutch

Cant wait I have been wanting to do a killer setup with a TMIC for a bit.. Thats why I got the APS TMIC to begin with I ws just trying to find the right Turbo and I think the DOM 3R is the right one. I am a big fan of BB Turbos and I hope that the combo of the full BB + TMIC is gonna make for some quick SPOOL... Now add the Meth and oh yeah its gonna help big time..

I hear ya, my last project was a chopper I built from the ground up and I hit alot of snags oh yeah alot... I am used to them..

I hope the Meth helps with the TMIC thats my main concern just want to have a killer fast spooling sleeper, and hopefull the APS TMIC + DOM 3 and Meth will get me there. Thanks for the help with the Dom 3...

What up , I actually got it from a guy on ebay Turbo beenie, Turbo blanket, Turbocharger heat shield - eBay (item 170213292266 end time May-23-08 21:31:22 PDT) real nice blanket just hard to get intouch with the guy.

Yeah I am hoping for good results, I have been wanting to do this type of build for a bit, thats the whole reason I got the APS TMIC. My intial build was gonna me a 20G 8cm with Meth and the APS TMIC just wanted a fast spooling street DD sleeper... Still do but I wanted to get a bigger Turbo and just be able to show guys that you dont have to run a FMIC not that its a big deal or anything alot of people run a TMIC but I think people tend to not go all out cause they have a TMIC or want to stick with it.. Hopefully my answer to this = METH.. We shall see I am stoked..

I will, I am just saying the DYNO numbers arent my main goal anymore I over that stage... You know.. Hope my Meth Kit comes in tomorrow, I will post pics and try to have a write up about the Devils Own Kit they are fairly new the owners name is Chance real cool guy their kit is nice comes with all nickel fittings, same Sure-FLO pump that aquamist uses, and a pretty small stealthy controller that taps into the Map or Maf.. Its a nice kit for $330 plus a extra 25 bucks for the dual nozzle setup no sure if I am gonna run it that way I may just do one big nozzle.. Or maybe 2???
