I was talking about the MAF. But you think I should add the gimmick Maf to my 70mm APS? I cant wait for the DOM 3 I hope the TMIC holds up ok.. I also just got a Crawford air/oil sep.. I am gonna skip out on the EWG for now since I am gonna do the TGV deletes my budget needs me to wait for the EWG.. But from what I have heard the EWG is not needed on the DOM 3..

So how did your abs sensor go??

i dont have experience with the perin after maf, but i really like the gimmick motorsports (GMS) turbo inlet and after maf. they fit AWESOME i got them at importimageonline.com

if youre going with a aps 70mm, i would suggest some kinda aftermarket inlet and after maf.. check on fitment with that 70mm to the GMS aftermaf (my 65mm was a snug fit on the GMS after maf. call importimage and ask if it will fit, or ask around others will be able to tell you.

im interested to see how the TMIC does as well, im sure it will be fine, but power-wise. and the oil in the intercooler piping should be gone when you get the air/oil seperator.

ABS SENSOR: started when i went to rotate tires, lug studs broke on back drivers side tire. so i was replacing them... when i put it all back together my ABS light is stuck on...... so i took the sensor out, cleaned it, reset computer, did all the BS troubleshooting in the service manual.. and it still stays on.

the main problem is that since the ABS sensor detects the speed of the wheels and the differential adjusts the tire speed... you see where this is going??

my differential bucks all over the place when i turn, but in straight line it clicks a little. im going to limp it up to the subaru dealer tomorrow and see if they can get me in, otherwise i have appointment on wednesday afternoon/evening. im worried that my diff may be fvcked up

Still under warranty... doesnt matter if its 600 miles or 10 miles.. Yeah hope ots just the sensor.. Yeah I went with the Perrin Inlet I will probably go Perrin AFT MAF... I thik the TMIC wil be fine with the DOM 3 and my goals of 400/400 a guy over at Nasioc runs the same setup and he got 396 to the wheels and he said heatsoak was not a issue.. I am probbably gonna go FMIC after the summer or for next year.. Probably the APS 525 and some Piston and rings and that's it get my goal for 450WHP for a killer DD setup.. Right now after this Turbo and TGV's etc and Tune I am done for a WHILE... My Wife wants to kill me I have only had the car for 3 months you know... I may be living in this thing if I keep it up...

Congrats on the Dominator 3. I really like this turbo and I would love to do it with only an upgraded TMIC. I would like to see how it does with your APS top mount. What size inlet and exhaust housing did you go with on the Dom3?

I went with the standard 2.4 inlet and 8cm. So you think I will be ok with the APS TMIC for a while. I probably will go FMIC but not right now just dont have the funds. When I do I will go with a APS 525. But I hope the TMIC will come thru for me and it may be good for spool up. I am probably gonna use a Turbo blanket, wrap the TMIC with some heat reflective stuff, use my heatsheild and really use the IC sprayer this summer to fight off the heat. Like I said if I can get 375whp I will be happy the numbers dont really mean anything to me I just want a Turbo that I can grow into and not regret 6 months down the road when I want more power so thats why I decided on the DOM 3 + I think ball bearing is the only way to go.

Far as clutches go, I'm looking at the ACT HD street for good drivability. Hate to look like a noob driver in traffic with a multi puck with instant grab and HEAVY feel. Drove my buddies vette and anothers srt. Horrible. The act hd street can hold 500ftlbs @wheelsof tq. Stocker slips at 400tq @ wheels. I've tested that on race gas. There are other brands with same capabilities, so time to shop around some more. It never ends. Viscious cycle we create.

Keep telling the old lady it's almost finished and always justify.

Good luck with the APS TMIC. I would probably get the exhaust housing on the turbo coated as well. I think Blouch offers Jet Hot. It would probably delay your order a couple of weeks but may be worth it.

I read a thread on NASIOC yesterday about a Thermo Tec turbo blanket. I think that would be worth a try.

Also, maybe the larger JDM IC spray tank? Well if you plan on going to a front mount eventually I probably wouldn't bother with it. Can't wait to see your results and your whole setup.

Since you're doing TGV deletes, why not go with 3" inlet? Did your tuner say there wasn't much to gain with the 3" over the 2.4"?

Yeah according to Mike over at Blouch he was running his DOM 2 for over a year on his stock TMIC and he saw great gains and he had no trouble with heatsoak so with the APS and my goals of 375WHP + I should be fine for a while till I get the APS 525 then go for the big power.. On the inlet side I also ran that by Mike and he said its really just up to me he doesnt see it worth being a huge gain opposed to the extra lag you gegt from 3 over the 2.4 inlet he didnt have numbers to actually go by. But I am good with the 2.4 inlet I am hoping for a real quick spool up with my APS TMIC and 2.4 setup we shall see. On the Spec c tank I thought about it but I will just wait since I will be going over to a FMIC and Meth so at that point I will do the big tank for my Meth app.
