Anybody think its worth running the dual nozzle? Or just the single nozzle? Just trying to figure out if it will make a difference.

Controllers just dont fry up on themselves you feel me.. I will keep you posted it should get tuned on Tuesday..

I think since now they have some time on there hands till they get the controller. I want them to run the dual nozzle setup I was thinking if the 10GPH is what I need then maybe a dual setup running a 7GPH and a 3GPH which comes out to a 10 would be cool.. My thinking is if the charge comes in and gets sprayed up top and that cools it, and then it gets sprayed down low again it will give it a second cooling effect?? I am not sure seems like it cant hurt to try you know..

Hey Eric you want these Goldies.. I want some Enkei's...

You're right Carlos they shouldn't. 2 grounds, one ignition on power, a signal from the map and a lead to the pump. Didn't take very long to verify the wiring was not an issue. To be on the safe side we are going to pull the pump and check the draw on the bench. They don't use an external relay, so all the work gets done in the controller. If the pump tests fine, then it was just a defective controller.

Yeah hopefully it was just a defective controller and the pump is ok.. You guys should get the controller tomorrow.. Thanks for the help. I know everything will be kickass when all said and done. Thanks for the help.. Then I can post these numbers that everyone wants to see on a DOM 3 with a TMIC.. LOL Thanks

Carlos

Well I am sticking with the single nozzle. After talking to the guys at Precision and Chance from Devils own I think it wouldn't make any difference to run a second nozzle. The one M15 should be PLENTY...

Next well just cant wait to see how she feels with the new snail and Meth... Hopefully the new controller is all good, and I can get tuned by John on Tuesday or Wednesday.. Numbers should be good.

Hopefully today is the day. I've been all over this thread the past few days. to Devil's Own for the customer service. I'm anxious for the results since this is virtually identical to the setup I would like to run. Carlos for President!

you will get VERY close to 450whp on the APS TMIC, meth kit, 740cc, DOM 3R, etc. love the mod path you've taken; not the same boring path always seen.

good luck - car sounds great.

For example if you went with aquamist kit there big nozzle is a 1.0 which flows 325ml/min thats why they always do a dual nozzle setup. With our kits and pretty much all US based meth kits the nozzle are rated diff and flow alot more. Like SNOW's bigest nozzle flows 625ml/min and they say that is good for 500+whp, I am probably gonna run the 10 which flows 630ml/min per devils own charts, or I may do a 7 and a 3 for the same flow but with a dual setup.. Not sure.. The M15 is pretty big I dont think I need that much Meth.. I know Steve @ SMC suggests the M15 I dont know cause that is probably about 1000ml/min which is alot. What kind of power are you putting down..
yeah, i understand that. The SMC kit runs at 100psi IIRC. I ran the m15 on my 30r, now on my 35r. 30r was 359/pump19psi. 408/meth 24psi, and 35r was 390/pump 20psi, 440/meth 25psi. And on the 35r, I only have 1* of timing increase at the same AFR as pump

Cant wait to see my car again, and everything should be nice, Precision does great work, Rich the owner made sure we got another controller and Chance from Devils Own took car of it, did me a solid.... I think John will tune her tomorrow since I cant get down there today they are almost 3 hours away from me.. But tomorrow knock on wood we will see how the setup worked out

Yeah you think. I am really not shooting for any numbers inparticluar just want the car to run strong and pull good. If I can get 400+whp and same TQ I would be happy. Yeah man I have no problem with doing a FMIC and I probably will go to a APS 525 when I do.. But I wanted to try something diff and see what I can get with the TMIC and Meth and kind of prove you can make good power and with the right setup your TMIC isnt gonna melt.. LOL .. But we will see you know..

Next mods are gonna be a 44mm EWG and a custom 3.5 exhaust if I can source one out I am currenly talking to AR FAB about something like this, they make killer stuff and I am gonna do there shortblock so I want to see if they can make me a one off DP and exhaust. If not I am def gonna get rid of this catted DP and go to at least a non catted DP with my N1 Race...

Maybe I will go with a 3.5 straight pipe exhaust... My neighbors will love that.. LOL

Yeah I am gonna try the M15 nozzle myself just a single and see how it works out.. Yeah that 35R kit is nice.... Let me know how you make out with that exhaust cant wait to see that one....

i can tell you that a stock block, aps tmic, dom 3r (IWG), smc v.2, m15, DW740cc, 65mm CAI, cobb catted TBE is well over 400whp/400wtq with 93 and meth.

major props to mike blouch and his company - their turbos are magnificent and their customer service is incredible!

Default Re: DOM 3.0R + TMIC = Numbers are in 427/433...

UPDATE..... Well all the issues were worked out in the end.. I had alot of things not going my way with the mods. I have a real problem with Crawford Performace and I post up about that later... Anyway

John tuned the car today he did a great job my car was just acting up but he got everything to work.. I am using just the Perrin EBCS and that was a bit of a problem cause we couldnt play with the boost like we wanted to... I was gonna go with a MBC but they didnt have any at the shop so I was SOL and at this point I needed the car tuned and back they had it for a week.. So he got 24psi, hitting full boost at 3800rpm it was holding and starts tapering down to 21psi at about 6k and goes down to about 19.5 at 7K. The car made 427WHP and 433 TQ its a monster the car pulls like a beast.. I have boost under my foot the whole time what a diff... Its amazing... I was expecting about 400/400 split especially with the TMIC.. But we got the 427/433 and that was only at 24psi there is PLENTY left with this turbo.. He did pull after pull no heatsoak issues at all.. It was 70 degrees out not real hot.. All in all I am super happy...

I will post up more info... Just got home from a long but fun 2 1/2 hr drive back from the shop... More info to come.. METH & TMIC FTW.....

Wow! First off congrats, that is just sick nasty.
