Default 2008 AW STI, Started self-mods(cosmetics)

Welcome to David's 2008 Aspen White STI Journal.
I am now 20 years old, my B-day was Feb 1, so woot! I actually purchased the car on Jan. 31, 2008. So far I have been driving the bujeebies out of the car, by Monday the 4th I had 350 miles on it.

The current styling of the car is great, just planning on minor upgrades to the exterior, later on down the road I will get into the Suspension then engine Mods.

Planned exterior: Limited Lip, Tint, Sport Grill(or make self-mod grill), and of course new Rubber(anyone have suggestions for some new tires.)

And of course the car:

Alright best thing about this car, day, and journal!
I already have my first mod courtesy of the Bay Area's great commuters!

Alright so after i added at least 75 horsepower 72 torque with that nice little hole in the front end. I have finally started working on the styling of the car, because of the accident and the zerosports bumper coming out soon i have gotten a little ballsy and took off the front bumper.
I've started painting peices, such as the fog bezels(goodbye ugly grey), the front grill(the grey will now be black and the black will now be white.) I am also painting the headlights to get rid of the chrome. I will also be doing a "pillar delete" which requires you to also cut the bumper which you will see in the photos how it might be done.

Tip for those who want to try this: there are 3 ways to attack these things from the wheel well, and by taking the bumper off, and maybe from underneath.
I messed up badly on my first headlight, they are extremely hard to tape off correctly, I'm going to be retrying this today, but so far so good on all the other pieces.

It's a bit scary doing this seeing as it is a BRAND new car, but it is fun as hell. I'll be trying to post steps you would be able to use if you ever wanted to try this yourself, and also be posting mistakes so you won't have to make them too. pics to come later.

Just pulled out of the drive through from Starbucks and some fool in a F-150 Starts reversing into me, I stop, Hit reverse and my car goes nowhere for some reason. I laid on the horn, but he just kept going and right into my corner. I went to get an estimate and the car is not on any bodyshop records for parts so they quoted me for 2007 parts total came up to be $3800+.
I AM SO PISSED!

You can get the BBS w/o Nav. It's a package from Subaru.

I think the best colors were UGM, OBP and AW. I had UGM on my 07, my sis has an OBP WRX, so AW jut seemed like the right way to go. Now I almost regret the color, but oh well. I'll try my best to make mine stick out from the other AW's.

Need help with a fitment question. I purchased a Limited Lip for my 04 and was wondering if the fitment is the same? I would rather not spend more on a different lip

no way the 04 lip would fit the 08, its a different design. unless you want to get to it with a dremel and prove me wrong?
i'd guess the mounting points have changed too, as well as the overall design. after seeing it, the 08 lip is way smaller than the 04, doesnt look as good imo
