Talking got my big brake kit yesterday. new picture.

This is my 2005 STi aka " The Black Beast", I bought it with around 35,000 miles on it and it now has about 45,000 miles on it. Ive had it for almost 2 years and loved everyday with it so far.

When i brought her home.

First thing i went out an bought was a Eclipse Headunit, JL audio Speakers.

as the months went on and i saved money and learned more about my car i started modding wisely. First mods were COBB Stage 2, Defi Gauges. But after having the COBB TBE for about a month, i got sick of it and wanted something that sounded mean as hell.

The Defi's..

When i sold the COBB exhaust.

After i sold that exhaust and saved up some coin, i went out and bought some stuff....

Blitz Nurspec R catback
Invidia Downpipe
COBB Up-pipe
Tein Super Street Coilovers
Prodrive GC-05's 18x8, british black
Yokohama Advan Sports
Limited Rally Armor Mudflaps
Hella horns
Tein Hood dampers
Carbon Fiber bumper piece
Kartboy longer Exhaust hangers

After everything is on i went and had a photo shoot.

After all of that was done, i felt like she was missing something at the time and what she was missing was.... 20% tint, Cusco Lip, de-badged trunk, baked headlights..black painted housings.

All that was last summer^^^^^

During this winter Ive decided its time to get more power out of her, the stage 2 crap isn't cutting it for me anymore lol...

So for a several months i saved up coin and started deciding what i want and at first i was looking at 20g's and FP greens, but decided i want a GT35r...so as i was looking at 35r kits i came upon Crawford performance, Ultimate Racing GT35r kit and Full-Race's Twinscrolll GT35r.

In the end it came down to the Full-Race Twinscroll GT35r that i ordered in early october 2007. So this is what all i ordered to go with the Turbo kit..

Full-Race GT35r turbo kit--includes....
Full-Race Lower Turbo Manifold
Twinscroll T3 up pip3 w/ 2 x 44mm WG
2 x TiAL 44mm WG
3’’ Cat-less Downpipe
Garret GT35r .82 Turbo
-------------------------
also ordered....

Full-Race FMIC
Exedy Twin plate clutch
Tein EDFC controller
Kartboy Short shifter
Kartboy Shifter bushings
NGK spark plugs
HKS EVC Boost Controller
Apexi Turbo timer
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator
Tial 50mm bov
3 pod gauge A-pillar
Defi Water temp gauge
Defi Oil Pressure gauge
AEM Air/Fuel gauge
Snow Performance stage 2 meth kit
Spec C 12 liter tank
Dual 255 walbro's

all that^^^ was ordered last October with the turbo kit. and so far ive received the Apexi boost controller, Tein EDFC, Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator,NGK spark plugs, Kartboy SS+bushings exedy twin plate clutch.

Pics...

everything else im still waiting for..
Through out all of this waiting i managed to be able to afford a fully-built engine....i started talking to Ron @ Axis in late December 2007 and ordered a Fully-Built engine and a few other goodies that should be arriving in Febuary, sometime around Febuary my Turbo kit arrives and my other stuff i ordered that goes along with that.

Anyways heres the engine specs....

Axis Stage 1 Valvetrain kit
Stage 5 Axis Short Block 2.5 Liter Engine-
Darton Ductile Iron Sleeves
Modified Forged EJ257 crankshaft
High Performance Main & Rod bearings
Custom Pauter Machine forged Rods
Custom & Coated CP Forged pistons
Performance Piston Rings
Fully balanced & Blue printed
ARP Head Studs
Cometic Head Gaskets
OEM Subaru Engine Gasket kit
Koyo Radiator
Samco Hoses
Kelford 272 Cams
Axis Larger Racing Valves
Process West Front Mount Oil Cooler
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator
1150cc top feed injectors
Axis Fuel Rails
Cusco Tranny Mounts
Cusco Engine Mounts
STi RA Center Sections
STi Water Pump
STi shimless bucket kit
JDM 12mm Oil Pump

So at this moment in time i am playing the waiting game, but everything is suppose to be here in Febuary 08, i know my engine will be here for shure and hopefully the Turbo kit.

im hoping to have everything in my car and at least have it running by March or sooner....if everything goes accordingly.

So as time goes on, ill post up and news i get or anything new i get.

Heres a video from the other night, the roads were nice and dry so i took advantage of that.

Video of STi in January at Stage 2. - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

thanks for reading, Joe.

the funny part is, im waiting till i get EVERYTHING in before i start putting it on, so i have parts just chillen around my house....and yes this car will be driven probally 4 to 5 days out of the week, practically DD.

im hoping for around 500hp daily and 600 on race gas.

All I can say is wow. Can't wait to see this thing finished. Just make sure you break that engine in correctly. A little sacrifice to break in the engine will lead to a lot of joy after its tuned and everything, but I'm sure you already know this.

I want to do this with my car someday....

Wow, awesome build up. Talk about very similar to what I want to do. Where abouts are you from? Was that you driving in that video or were you filming?

Keep up the updates, I can't wait to see.

Impressive jump from Stg2 to a fully built block with a twinscroll Full-Race 35r! Can't wait to see how she turns out. Are you going to do anything for the interior so you stay in the seat after all that power
