Default 07 SWP STi -Dom's Daily Driver

Whats up guys - Here is my member journal:

My goal, for now, is to build a solid daily driver that performs better than stock yet is still a bit forgiving on the NY roads (and in the city if necessary). Slight possibility of a track day or autocross in the future.

Basic info as of 4/08/08:
-I have an 07 SWP STi (as you probably guessed from the title)
-I drive it everyday
-It is not garage kept
-I live in Westchester NY (roads not all that great)
-First oil change at 3000
-Approx 5500 miles on the clock

POWER:
Access Port
COBB TBE (No cat)
Pro Tune
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
NGK 1-Step Colder Spark Plugs
Installed/Tuned: 1/25/08 - 282HP/300TQ....(stock 200/200)

PLANS AS OF 4/08/08

POWER:
Headers
Up-Pipe
FMIC
Meth
**-waiting on list from Rob **

SUSPENSION: (all parts are in..install 4/10/08)
Ohlin fixed perch struts
RCE blacks
Front/Rear Gruppe N strut top mounts

I.C.E
Kenwood DNX7100
Blue tooth kit
XM kit
Back-up Camera

**All work to be performed by Automasters of Westchester (automasteramr.com)**

Any suggestions are encouraged and welcome. I have been reading up on the message boards for about 6 months now so I have a basic knowledge but i'm not too technical and won't be attempting to do ANY of the work myself so please use basic language when giving suggestions. Thanks in advance, you guys rock

oh yeah, forgot to mention...my front passenger side strut was making a delicious clunking noise last week so I brought it in to Subaru and it has to be replaced. My original appointment to install the Cobb Stage 2 was today 1/22, but the strut was scheduled to come in today. Hopefully it will be finished by tonight so I can take the car over to AMR first thing in the morning.

Never heard much about AMR but if I lived in NY I would have driven up to Al and ICS to tune my car. I'd drive up there from DE where I live to let him tune my car and you're closer.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure AMR will take good care of you.

Domanic,

Hopefully Subaru gets your vehicle back together. I am looking forward to meeting you tomorrow!

Good luck with the tune. I'll be following your progress as the situation with my baby is very similar:

addictive? haha i'm a full blown junkie...I had an RSX-S (mid 13's), then an Evo...then i thought i was through with modding so i got a 325i...then i realized i wasn't, so I bought the STi ...and now I have 8 million years of payments left so I think I'll hang on to this one for a while...and fortunately for my car but unfortunately for my bank account, AMR is within walking distance to my house sooOoOo...

I also have a SWP STI. I'm doing Cobb Turbo back(with cat) and pro tune as well. Anything in particular that made you want to add the Walbro fuel pump? Just performance reasons? I'm asking because of some 07 issues that are spattered about and was wondering if you did it for an issue or just because you think it's better. Thanks.
