Should I get a 07 sti or the new 08?

Hey guys I'm new to this forums but I have a question. I was wondering what would be better. Should I get a new 07 sti and I would have about 4 grand to put into it or buy a 08 with the bbs wheels and have no money to put into it. I keep going back and fourth so maybe someone has some good insight about it. thanks

OP this should probably go in a different forum instead of the members journal.

Its your first post so welcome. Do some searches and check out the 08 discussion forum. Its a hard question for people to give you hard facts on since hardly anybody has an 08. My guess is everyone will tell you that their year is the best so...

07 all the way

i personally would go with the 07, with some extra money to put into it..

the 08 hasn't quite yet grown on me..

The 07/08 debate is one that you'll have to solve for yourself. Research both models thoroughly and make a decision based on what YOU want. If you let someone talk you into one or the other, well, you get the idea. There's a LOT of small differences. Looks are the only major discrepancy and its what 99% of people will argue one way or the other. Technically, the 08 is superior because its the newest model with the latest bits... But the 07 can be had for less $$ and many prefer the sedan body style. They each have their pros and cons so do some research. Just please don't base your decision on what you want others to think when you drive it. Buy the one that gives you what you want from it.
