So after being a member for nearly 2.5 years I've finally decided to get my journal going.

Here's some pics of its progression.

-JDM Side Visors, been rocking these since 04 before the craze caught on

-Work Meister S1 3pc 18x8.5 +48 Polish lip/custom painted spokes via Work wheels
I always loved this wheel and after seeing the AST widebody impreza I was sold! Although not as agressive for todays standards, I still get compliments on them. Most likely I'll be sending them back to work to get resized wider, thats the beauty of a 3 piece wheel.

Gotta love GTR face!

-1st track day via speedtrial usa
I did ok for my first time at the track but I did notice my re070's were at the end of its life... 'UNDA UNDA'!!!

After that day I decided it was time for some track wheels that I can also daily as my meisters needed to 'take a break'.

I'm an advid WORK wheels fan so I was set on the XD-9 17x8.5 +42 which apparently is an extremely tight fit and to this date I think I was the only 04 sti that ran them without scrapping the wheel or brake caliper

WORK emotion XD9 17 x 8.5 + 42

I wasn't particularly thrilled with the weight (~20 lbs) plus how popular they seemed to have gotten so I went back to my 'sources' for another wheel.

I stumbled upon these bad boys and I'm 99% certain that these were made by Work back in the day

Dunlop rozest ss-01 competitions
12 years old, brand new in box, never mounted!
17x8 +35
13 pounds
spun forged

test fitted

flush enough?

I decided this year to aquire more parts to build my car up threw the help of Garagespec in which me and kenji815 started up.

-Keys! 330 suede steering wheel, I'm not 100% of the steering wheel so it 'might' be up for sale

-Works bell quick release

-Prodrive Delrin shift knob. only one in the USA that I know of

I'm sure I left a million things out but that's my progress so far. I have seriously begun building up my car through constant 'persuasion' from my partner kenji85 at Garage Spec who's building a sick ride of his own.

Here's a sneak peak at what's to come for 2008

until my next update, here's something to keep you guys busy

Nice journal so far
Those SS-01's are cool - 12 years old and brand new... I'm guessing you don't see that every day

Good luck

PS. As you know, the ARC FMIC can't handle too much power, so are you planning on staying stock turbo?

Thanks!
I am sucker for all things rare and old school. I got them both in one! The wheels are good for now, I'll mostly be upgrading once the build gets more along its way.

Stock turbo is going to be out, I'm confident the fmic will hold the whp I'm shooting for...hopefully
