So the first mod I did after buying my car 12 December 2006 was to put on a set of Kumho ASX all season tires. Then I drove it up to Everett Washington from San Diego, California for a break in.

Those are some of my favorite pics of my car. When it was still brand new, no door dings, no scratches. It had silver wheels when I bought. That was my next mod......

What's up. I'm in the Navy. How's life in Fort Knox? The name sounds cool, I have never been.

OK so now I am thinking of taking a different approach to this. I am going to write out what my mods were in order as best I can. Then I will fill in with pics until I am all caught up....

So list in order of when I did them:

1: Swap out RE070's and put on Kumho Ecsta ASX 225/45R17
(driving in mountains with RE070's FTL)
2: Hardwired my escort x50 (keep it clean)
3: Had factory Sirius tuner installed (love me some Sirius)
4: Tinted the 3 back windows at a local shop (best mod ever)
5: Swapped my stock silver BBS wheels for gold BBS wheels (thanks Nick)
6: Installed RS-R catback (loved it)
7: Cobb AP Stage 1 tune (really loved it)

At this point I was pretty happy with the car and stopped modding for a while. I did one track day at Horse Thief Mile and maybe a hundred odd 1/8th mile runs down at Qualcomm stadium. I know the STi is not a drag car but I will always be a drag racer at heart. I was running 8.6's stock and 8.4's with stage 1 tune in place. This was plenty fast for me since I was beating 3/4ths of the cars at the track.

I will try to catch more up later but this gets us pretty close to current...

Nice mods so far, I think gold rims look a lot better on black, good choice.

And that is how I ran it for the better part of the year. But it wouldn't be long before the mod bug would strike me again......

Looking good, almost exactly like mine. black/gold ftw!

You should do something with those tails, either a tint overlay or a 04-05 swap.
