Unless you have some good score marks on your rotors I wouldn't worry about getting them resurfaced.
When I change out pads I'll take an old tooth brush and some soapy water and scrub the rotors a little bit.
Just bed your new pads in properly and it should transfer a good layer of material to the rotors.

If the brakes are stopping you from killing other motorists, prolly dont need to worry about it... just have the dealer do your next brake job....

As for the snow, it depends on where he went.... i said it SUCKS before cause i have a season pass to winter park/mary jane and i went 1 TIME this year

All the other times i had gone to Loveland w/ friends.... the snow at WP / MJ is ALWAYS the bomb.... i LOVE that resort almost as much as my car... its so damn big and its just such a great resort.....

Loveland and pretty decent snow, but like i said, it all depends on where he went... we did get a couple storms here a couple weeks ago, and i know my friends said they had like 1-2ft of powder at Copper Mt....

(not sure if u know any of those resorts, but they are the local mountains that are awesome, Winter park and mary Jane especially! )

They are pretty smooth. Thanks for the info. Did you ever find a Noltec plate to replace the one that got lost? When do you plan on installing your Zzyzx coils? I'm definitely amazed with the ride quality.

Couldn't source any noltec rear plates so I ordered the cuscos. I will be installing these in a couple of weeks cause I have a track day to attend.

Your car is looking nice, are you going to a 10" wide wheel?

You need to roll out to Utah and go skiing, you will realize how crappy those colorado resorts are. The ONE thing that i think utah has over colorado is the skiing. It is second to none.

So was it the rear Noltec that was lost? The front Noltec's are really nice since they allow for a good amount of caster. I got 5 degrees with mine. I think some modifying of the underside of the top plate would allow for the welds to slide under the plate a bit. I think this would get you 6 degrees.

Look at the welds and you'll see what I'm talking about

I ran out of money for the wheels, at least for now. Probably going to wait till June when I get my bonus.

Yeah it was a rear noltec that was lost. I don't want to wait for UPS so I ordered the cuscos since the noltecs are sold out. I noticed the plate would only go so far before it runs into the top plate. I've seen people modify them before but I'll hold off until I really need that extra degree of caster.
Hey does it matter what side the front noltec plates go on? I couldn't tell at first glance and I forgot to ask Steve in my last email.

Here is the correct orientation. It is important to get this correct. Steve has seen this picture & has confirmed it is correct.

The Noltec logo is under the tape that says front of car.

That's pretty damn good. I'm not sure exactly what i got but it was at least 6 he said.

So you obviously got everything dialed in, right? How's it feel?

Default Re: JD's 07 STI: X-Brace causing oversteer, should I switch sways?

Installed the CL development X-Brace, now the car's oversteering a bit.

Prior to this, the car felt very neutral, no oversteer no understeer.

The whole car is soo ridiculously stiff now with all the bracing I've done (mod list on page 1) The only brace it's really missing is the front strut brace. I'll probably pick one up soon. Hopefully that counters the rear brace.

I'm thinking of switching to smaller sway bars.

Any thoughts..
