Default Gfunk's 2005 STI- My New Baby

2005 STI Crystal Grey Metallic on Silver

Well, I have had my STI for about 8 months now and I adore the car. The stoutness of the gear box, and the torque of the engine just make the car a pleasure to drive. Am just over 13k miles now, and haven't had a problem yet. The only problem is making enough money to keep up with my addiction. Looking forward to getting my new coilovers dialed in and the rest of my visual mod plans for the year done. Still need a damn retune, as I am getting used to the power now

Mod List:

Engine:
UTEC Stage2
GReddy EVO2 Catback
Helix V3 catless Downpipe

S203 Hazard Button

Defi BF Amber Imperial Gauges(Boost/Oil Temp/EGT)
Factory Subwoofer

For sure man! Think there is another Red Lobster meet coming up if you are near Danbury...

Thanks for the kind words, I like the vibe that this site puts off. Much friendlier and willing to help than others

There isnt a scratch or ding on this thing, it amazes me that its actually 3 years old. This is basically the lowest mileage, best maintained 05 STI I could find in NE. That was my goal, and I think I hit the nail on the head

If you take off those Rally Armour mudflaps and are going to sell them, I'm looking for a set! Just make sure you keep all the hardware.

They are coming off, I will PM you if my buddy falls through. Can't decide for sure if I want to just keep em and sell the prodrives...

Topend- The car is from Putnam County, NY. So only about an hour away from me. The seller was very nice and dropped the car off at my house. I think the next meet is on November 24th, and I'll be there for sure!

Congrats on the mint 05. I know you were looking for awhile as I have seen you on the Nesic board often. I made the switch from an 04 WRB WRX myself and haven't looked back since!
P.S.- Any plans to autox?

Thanks Erock! I remember talking to you at Marcus dairy right after you got the STI. Don't think I've seen you since then though.

No plans to Auto-x it, though you are not the first person to ask me that. I baby my cars, and would feel bad really putting it through its paces. I plan on having this thing for many many years to come

Congrats on the car man, I remember looking at this and almost getting it myself. I'm probably picking up an 05 aspen white this weekend w/ super low miles and my name's also Greg, haha! See you around!
