Default Re: Update: Tune with XX Tuning rescheduled

I just ordered my third brake light from subarugenuineparts.com. I'll take a pic of the new trunk when I pick it up. I was also planning on rescheduling my dyno tune again, but I want to finally get it done, and I figure I've reschedule it twice and I didn't want to do it a third time because I might not be able to get it in for another 2 or 3 weeks. My boss got a little pissed when I told him that I was coming in late to get the car tuned, but I figured I'd be there 'til 12 or 1 in the morning so it won't be too bad. I'll also try to load the video from work too, so I'll have everything posted the same day. Pics and video to come shortly.

Yeah, I remember reading about what happened to you on your thread with your trunk lid. I wasn't planning on intalling it until my third brake light comes in. I'll post how it goes when it comes in.

Default Re: WORK XD9 18x9 +43 in Bronze ordered

I've been putting in a lot of overtime since I started my new job. To reward myself, and with the help of Drew (T3h_Clap), I placed an order for Work XD9s 18x9 +43 offset. I'm planning on putting a set of 255/35/18s. I just need to find a good price on them. Drew, thanks for the info on the wheels and tires.

I got in on the GB on NASIOC from RavSpec for the order they're placing for Work wheels. I got lucky because they're putting the order in tomorrow. They're located in Long Island, so when I stop by to pick up the wheels I might also pick up a CF lip. I'm also placing an order on some JDM fog lights. I've been saving up for them for a while, and my friend came back from his honeymoon, so he was able to put in an order through his supplier. I aslo found a member on one of the local forums that's interested in selling a pair of sparco speed seats. I'm going to check it out this weekend and if I like them I'm planning on picking them up.

As for the seibon trunk lid and mine's spoiler, I put it on this past weekend. There were some issues with getting everything to line up correctly, but it all worked out. And for the tune, I was forced to reschedule because something came up at work. I had to cancel that weekend because I needed to get everything in for work. I worked everything out with my boss and I was able to take a half day on March 5th for the tune.

I found out that one of the new guys that started working in my group is in to photography so he said he'd be down to take some pictures of the car. I'll try and take pics of everything this weekend with my regular camera, if I'm able to wash the car. If my friend is free I'll try and work things out to get him out to take pics.

Things didn't go well with the tune. I had to postpone my tune to another date, but Chris mentioned that he'd be in NJ soon. That actually works out a little better for me because of the distance.

I'm also talking to another member about picking up his ewg setup and talking to another member about his aps fmic. If that doesn't work out I might pick up the turbo xs fmic.

Next up on the list is going to be a boost controller and a fuel pump. After that I'm going to start saving for a new hood and a new turbo (and corresponding parts).

This coming Friday is Good Friday, so my coworker said that he'd be down to take pics of the car since we're off. We're shooting for Friday, but it might get pushed to Saturday if the weather isn't good. It's been pretty bad the past few weekends with the weather so I haven't been able to clean it much. I was only planning on cleaning my wheels and the interior, but ended up cleaning the whole car. Here is a quick pics of the trunk and the cleaned wheels. I'll have more in my next post.

About a week ago I headed to Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn to take some pics of the car with my coworker Eric. There are a few more shots that I wanted to him to take, but it was windy and it was still in the 40s. The rolling shots could've been better if there was someone riding along, but I don't think its bad considering he said he couldn't hold the camera still.

Default Re: Dyno Graph in post 56

I finally got my graph from Narvin at ATX Motorsports. I've been pretty busy at work during the week and playing softball and basketball during the weekends didn't give me enough time to head to NJ to redyno my car. I headed over there today came up with the following graph. I was hoping to be in the 300hp range, but Chris and Narvin said that this dyno read low. I'm happy with the power for now so I won't complain. Next up is new rotors, pads, lines, and brake fluid.

I also had a chance to paint my Advans and mount them. I took a quick pic, but I'll have a photoshoot with my photographer sometime in the next few weeks. Here's the pic of the graph and the painted wheels.

My new wheels came in today. If its not raining tomorrow, I'm going to mount them to see how they look. I'm undecided on what tires I want to put on them. I was going to put a set of 255s on them, but I'm thinking of just putting a wider set of tires on one of my 17s. I'm either going with Falken 452s or RT-615s. I'll put my order in at the end of the month when I find out how my OT check is. If I'm as busy as I'm expecting, then I should have tires by then. I'm planning on getting new rotors, pads, lines, and brake fluid in the next week.

Here's a pic of the wheel. If anyone wants I can take more pics.

Thanks.

I've had the car for a little over a year now. I took delivery of the car on 7/11/07. For now, I think I'm done with any more power mods 'til I save up more money. I put in my order for new rotors, pads, lines, and brake fluid last week. And earlier this week I also put in an order for the wearpon r hybrid coolant/washer tank, kartboy short shifter and bushings. I'll probably put everything in at the same time. When I came home today my window spoiler by carbon couture was in my hallway. Its not perfect I'm going to have to paint it. I was't able to take pics yet, but I'll take some when I get everything done. I'm also looking to pick up a set of wrx side skirts. I'll be putting in more overtime over the next few weeks so I'll pick one up once the check comes in. That's it for now.

Parts for the car have been coming in over the past few weeks, but softball season and my friends' wedding have held me up a bit. I ordered front and rear rotors, stainless, lines, motul brake fluid, weapon r hybrid tank, kartboy short shifter and bushings. i ordered pads last year, so there wasn't a need to order another set. Everything finally got installed today, so I decided to wash the car and take a few pics. The car hadn't been washed in a while, so it was nice finally seeing it clean again. I took a pic of the front of the car, but there was too much light.

Here are pics of everything installed:
