I'm in the market for a set of springs. I was originally going to get a pair of the 2005 Tein S.Tech's when the finally came out. However, my desire for them stemmed form wanting a low agressive stance. My question, can any one suggest a set of springs that will not only lower the car by about an inch, but also, more importantly, offer a great increase in handling.

Prodrive springs or STi pink springs will both do what you're looking for. I've been in an STi with S-techs before...they are strictly for looks IMO.

thanks anthony. I had the feeling that was the case. I'll just have to decide which i perfer, the STi Pinks or the Prodrive ones. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them. In the mean time, I'll hit the books and see what i find.

Anthony, do you know what the difference is between front/rear for both the Pinks and Prodrive springs? Those things are cheaper than I realized and it would be nice to drop the front a little more than the rear!
Matthew

PS Don't forget to let me know when those Gunmetallic Tarmac II's are headed my way! Temp is down to 30F tonight and I have to get my all-seasons on soon! Thanks man, talk to you later.

Pink STi springs actually lower the rear more then the front, but the Prodrive springs will lower the front of the car more then the rear. The actual drop on the prodrive springs is probably around -1.2 front and a mere -0.5 rear. Whereas I believe the Pink Springs lower the vehicle to a more even looking drop rather then the nose down look.
