Kevin. . . VERY interested in a JDM bumper beam WITH energy absorber. Has anyone verified (as this is a 5mph bumper beam) whether or not this is, in fact, a legal setup? (Since the Evo comes with a rating of 5mph up front)

And do you have any of said configurations left in stock?

i too wanna go w/ the jdm beam and absorber.....

you wont find the official answer for which you seek.....

it's a gamble, IMO, but not much....

just think, with the lighter weight, you'll be able to stop sooner, avoiding the impact altogether....lol

Well, if the 5mph rating is good enough for the Evo with it's FMIC, I'm pretty sure things would be fine for a TMIC setup and an already tough chassis.
