I notice on alot of cars here (especially Ben's), people have put custom decals (iwsti.com, Team RD, etc.). How do you do this? Maybe someone can type up a "Painting Cars for Dummies" How-To or something?

Lots of time and no life . Seriously though the people here have a lot of talent in painting those cars. I know I wouldn't have the patience to do it and really that is what it comes down to. Messing around with the different shapes and effects that the paint feature has to offer will get you the look you want.

There has to be a way to put custom ones... I just don't see how you can make the IWSTI.com logo, with the STi silhouette and everything, simply by using the in-game shapes.

I am also really curious about this. I understand how to put on the graphics and paint and all that but how do you guys do the custom stuff?

all you need is a lot of time and patience...the iwsti logo is actually pretty easy to make...it's just a bunch of straight lines manipulated together.

I use 3 basic shapes to make every single design:

Square
Circle
Curve

Resize / stretch those, change the colors, and you can make anything. After all, every image you ever see on your monitor is just a bunch of tiny squares that are different colors.
