Default New FM2 guy

OK so I bought the X-Box Forza 2 edition. I never played FM before because I am kind of a Gran Tourism fan. I have been waiting for GT5 to come out and finally gave up and bought the X-Box. I was so blown away by the game that I don't think I stopped playing for 2 days. To give you an idea, I have had my X-box now for two days and I am level 32. In my opinion, they took everything that GT players complained about and fixed it. Like damage and repair, added penalties for cutting the track, an AI that didn't follow a fixed speed and line (in GT the AI will knock you off the track to follow his line, without damage). There are probably a lot more things but that's all I can think of right now. I'm impressed or maybe just obsessed.

Sweet Jesus you have had the game 2 days and your at level 32?! I thought I really liked the game. I also was impressed when I got the game. Before that I was playing PGR3 everyday which was to unrealistic for me. Forza is more of a simulation and the Live play is great. I wasted so much time on live I didn't even bring it to school.

BTW I had the game a month before I hit level thirty....

I hit level 35 last night. It is taking a lot longer to progress in the levels and unlock tracks than in the lower levels.
I don't have internet at my house so I can't get on Live. I really just wanted it for it's Nurburgring track. I use games like GT4 and now FM2 to train on the track when I can't be there for real. My buddies and me will meet up at my house the night before we go to the track and run a few laps on the console before we do the real thing. Just for familiarization purposes. I will admit that the Nurburgring in FM2 has quite a few unrealistic corners whereas the Nurburgring on GT4 is nearly spot on. I was a little dissappointed with FM2 about that because that's the primary reason I bought the game. I can get over it. I just don't like getting used to a corner on the console and when I hit it in real life, it takes a totally different line.
