Default Thinkin about picking up Forza 2

Im thinkin about picking up Forza 2 for the 360 but i keep hearing horror stories of it crashing the 360, causing it to get the 3 rings of death....I have a Halo 3 edition 360 so am i safe from this? What are the chances that my 360 would crash if i bought this game?

i heard about those same things, but that was way back when it first came out and when there was a big ruckus over 360s dying and what not. i think the halo xbox has the new chipset in it anyway, so you should be ok. haha if it helps, about 4-5 of my friends and myself have the original chipset 360 and copies of forza 2 and haven't experienced any problems with it :-)

you should totally get this game dude! haha you'd be totally doing a disservice to yourself not to...it is a must-have 360 racing game, especially for car enthusiasts! :-D

haha if that was the case they wouldn't be throwing the game out with every premium edition. game is dope, there are way more games that are far more taxing on the 360 besides forza 2. I say get it...it's awesome.

I have been playing Forza since they came out. It is not the game that makes it crash it is you. If you play it to much it will crash or get it dirty. But you need FORZA for 360

I played forza for 6 hours straight the first night i got it, and my 360 sits in a shelf in a tv stand never had a problem.................knock on wood. I also have an Elite I got back on christmas so I heard that Microsoft fixed the problems with the rings of death.

mine came up with the three rings of death while playing Halo 3 after zero problems with Forza 2. Xbox fixed it and had it back to me in less than 7 days with zero cost and little effort to me. It is good as new. So, even if your 360 does take a crap, microsoft is stepping up to the plate and taking care of people.
