We had to desmoke my friends car in a week to sell and it worked great! |

| Amateur STI Driver | Depending on how bad you want the smell out something like this http://www.air-zone.com/autorestorations.html will work better than anything. Most any used car dealer will have one. They can remove the smell from the car in a couple hours. More than I would want to pay for a one-time use though. |

Everything everyone else said works well, but wont mean much if the old ashtray and inner ashtray bracket are in the car still, you`ll still get that smell if you leave the windows up on a hot day or the car is a weekend driver like mine. Take the ashtray and bracket out and replace them with new ones or use the open space for something, I mounted my defi control unit up in the slot where the ashtray was. Also, if you`re really particular about the smell like me, pull the HVAC trim ring and HVAC out and clean the area inside and out well with simple green. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
