Default I/C spray light

Since i have a FMIC and i dont use the I/C spray button. is there a way to disable the light on the guage cluster. its realllly annoying...thanks!

p.s. i was also thinking of just taking to tank out all togther...is that possible without serious work.

1. figure out a way to keep the float up, wire, rubber band...
2. The switch the float operates will either be an open to complete or close to complete switch similar to a neutral safety switch. You should be able to find a harness to disconnect for it. Disconnect it and if the light goes out youre golden, if it doesnt you can (MAKE DAMN SURE YOU GET THE SWITCH WIRES AND NOT THE PUMP WIRES) connect the 2 switch wires.

I took my IC spray tank out. It's not too difficult. If I remember right, you unscrew one bolt and then pull really hard. There is a tab that it sticks in to. And just unplug the harness and there won't be an IC light on the dash.

Just as I suspected, if you unplug the harness the light will go off...
