Thumbs up Post Them Defi' Setups...

We all know that the Defi' Gauges are the best out there, and the real question is how to mount them. post up your setups so members can get an idea how to do thier when it comes time to get gauges. i've been faced with the dilemma of what center pod to get...i have looked at the defi' pod which is great and snaps in the stock position, but where to put the clock and airbag light when you use it. the zerosports pod is great although pricey it accomodates both but does not work on 06/07's because the airbag light, and i dont like the fact that it doesn't snap in to the factory location it double sided tapes in....i face with the pod dilemma...someone help by posting pictures of thier setup and comments about it and which pod you think is the best.......

Defi or ATI pods are really good.

Oh, and I think the best way to keep the airbag light from going off is to actually shove it down inside the clock console. There's plenty of room.

It's the Defi pod, and yes you have to paint it (or buy one used prepainted from someone).

The headunit is a Clarion DXZ655MP. The color matches perfectly.

I bought mine used, so I didn't have to paint it Also, I have an 05, so I just disconnected the clock. For the 06+, I believe you just tap into the wires, remove the clock/airbag module from the pod, and double-side tape it somewhere inside the dash. At least this is what I've read that people have been doing.

Here's mine...Defi Control unit is in the glovebox, just like Josh's (but my gauges are imperial FTW ). ATI color matched pod, no painting required.

Here's the control unit in the glove, it was before I installed my EGT :

And the ATI pod (to give you an idea of color matching):
