Default Black interior (carpet, seats, etc) HELP??

SO, i want to do a swap with someone for full black interior. What model imprezas should I look for if I want...
  • Black Alacantra door cards - not nylon mesh
  • Black carpet
  • Black seat covers
And what are my options as far as the seats go? I want to maintain my side airbag, and the seat height adjustment... Is there a difference between the sti and wrx front seats? as far as bolstering, etc? Is is posible to just swith seat covers for the front seats? Any and All help would be appreciated!!

Lastly, if you're interested in doing this, I have an '05 STi with a 1yr old interior that's in great shape... I live in ATL, pm me if you wanna trade!

You'd want to look into puchasing a JDM "Spec C" interior. They come in the stock blue scheme or the black color combo you have mentioned. Unfortunately it'll be extremely hard for you to just buy the seat covers; it'd probably be easier and more cost effective to buy the whole seat.

Check Nabisco, the vendors there usually sell the seats and door cards for around $1,800-$2,200 shipped. I'm sure you could recover most of the cost by selling your stock interior though.

I have been throwing the same thoughts around in my head. I have learned though that it is harder than you anticipate to find a buyer for your blue STi interior. You can also look into the Prodrive Recaro seats(they're fairly inexpensive and extremely nice), WRX carpet, and WRX door cards. Anyhow, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I'm trying to keep this on the cheap... at least for the door cards and carpet... also, like people have said, it may end up a win-win situation if someone with a wrx wants the sti interior... spec c interior sounds great, but I definitely don't have the cash for that

Yea it seems your best bet would be to see if someone with a WRX wants to swap. You could also look into getting your stock pieces dyed black. Then again I'm unsure about how much it'll cost.

Here's a few pics of STi to WRX (leather) interior swap: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1009422

I done a full all black WRX interior swap for my 05 STi and it was a easy swap. It took me and my friend an hour and a half to do the full swap. The person that swap my STi interior was also an 05 WRX and I got $300 on top of the swap.

You should look for someone with a WRB WRX and they may end up paying on top of your STi interior.
