Default Projected Speedometer

Anyone try projecting the speedometer onto the windshield?

I saw a VSD Basic on a local suby. The projecting screen looks out of place (just sitting on the dash) and the sticky thing for the window (where it projects to) looks fugly. I like the idea, but it neither looks OEM nor trick IMHO

^^^Maybe if someone was up to hacking into the dash and mounted it flush it wouldn't look bad but I agree the thing look out of place just sitting there.

HUD's are fricken sweet, especially when they can show water temp and oil pressure too. You never look at the gauges anymore. But if you need to put a little box on top of your dash to have it, I don't think it's worth it.

yea the VSD def looks out of place. its really just reflected onto the glass, not actually projected like the m6 is.
