Default Omori 45mm Boost Gauge Installed

Just received my Omori 45mm boost gauge and pod from J-Spec Tuning. Decided to go with boost on the steering column and will do the dash pod sometime in the future. The install was pretty easy and I just tapped into the wiring harness for the clock. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Installing on steering column:

Here are a few of the colors other than red. The pink actually matches the STi dead on.

Also, keep in mind as per a post I made about a year ago that you don't have to use the color control box. The gauge comes with a terminator that will set the gauge color to blue (I think). Well, you can simply put that terminator into a different configuration and automagically have red. Easy red color without using that color control box.

Thanks for the info! I did take a look at that post but, wasn't sure if I would ever want to change the color or not. The control box is out of the way setting in the coin holder that I never use.

That looks nice. I want to replace the stock lamee one. So with the new control box you don't have to use any terminators?

I have the same gauge installed in my car. Kinda of a pain in the ass to slide it in the pod, but looks good once its in there.

Yep - it is a great modification. I've nothing but pleased with mine.

The only PITA for me was the wait - JSpec was backordered for 2 months when I bought mine...

You have to lean forward to see the outside temp gauge. Everything else is visible.

Is it possible to pull the stock boost gauge out of its cup and add the Omori using the stock lines that are already there?

Thanks
