| I Has a Turbo Timer
Car: 2005 Subaru WRX STi Fav Mod: Every single one! Location: NJ Posts: 10,075
IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (29) | Alright, I just bought an ARC Shift Knob from a member here. Well the ARC shift knob comes with a plastic adaptor that screws on the inside of the shift knob that allows the shift know to screw onto the shifter lever. Problem is that the plastic adaptor is cross threaded and kinda messed up, thus not allowing me to install the ARC shift knob. Does anyone know of an alternative or if ARC even sells that plastic adaptor? Anything, even maybe a brass adaptor to add more weight would be great! Let me know, and please VENDORS if you have any answers for this, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Thanks! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (11) | Unfortunately, we are unable to provide just the adapter at this point I strongly suggest you talk with Chris over at Lathe Werks to see whether or not that Michelangelo can make you a new insert |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (29) | Thanks Alex, I will have to maybe try a plumbing store or my welder who has access to a laser scanner, scan it, then cut the same exact piece out of a AL or Brass block |

I can get you an M12x1.25 tap to fix it, that might work. Next time, get one of mine This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. Last edited by WC LATHE WERKS; 10-12-2008 at 08:46 AM. | |
