Thanks for your comment. After looking at that Audi, I will re-think my cage and see if I can add some more bars at the right stress point. However, I'm going to have a bar weld in on the A pillar to the front floor plates. I see in the Audi how the bar buckled and I think the new rally car style cage has that bar so it will help on the that stress point.

Again, this is my first cage as I will be learning a lot from it. I know there's a lot of improvement but this is more of a learning process as I go along.

My next race car is the Porsche 944 as I will be running in the spec 944 series in the east coast. I hope to get learn more on race car build as I go along.

what do you have done to throttle pedal? did you modify it in anyway or did you just find something aftermarket?

Any updates man (pics)?? Please don't get me wrong with my comments, I love what you are doing and yes, you always have to do a few to know how to improve. I was just hopeing those Audi pictures would keep you a bit safer.

I'll be honest with you, if I was to build a cage for a production car I would buy a model car of it in race trim (like the WRC STi) open it up and try to copy that cage. They are very good replicas and you can learn a lot from just looking at them too.
