Default Does anyone know where to buy an Omori 45mm Mechanical Boost Gauge

Hey guys,
I've been searching Ebay and the Private for Sale forums, but have had no luck. I am looking for a Mechanical Omori 45mm boost gauge. I am fed up trying to deal with Electric Boost Gauges. The only Omori gauges I have been able to find for sale are Electric. Does anyone know of a vendor/store that still carries the old mechanical Omori gauges? I know it's a long shot but thought I'd give it a try. (maybe someone here has one they want to sell ).

hahaha, I know it sounds weird, but I have an Electronic boost gauge, and I am just not very happy with it. It seems like my stock Lame-co mechanical gauge was a little more accurate, and after all the stupid wiring, and routing of cables I had to do, that really made me mad . The only problem I had with the stock boost gauge was that it was in BAR, so I figure the Omori would be a good replacement. I think the Omori will be a little more accurate than my current gauge, and I care more about accuracy than looks I guess.

Thanks for the info. I saw J-Spec Tuning sells Omori gauges, but I only found the newer Electric models. I'll try sending them an email to see if they still carry the mechanical model. It's funny, I am trying to go from an STRI 52mm gauge to an Omori 45mm mechanical. The STRI looks great, it just seems to read low (I have heard of people with DEFI's that also do the same, so I wonder if it is a trend with Electronic gauges). It reads consistent, but low. Also, not sure if you noticed this, but there are only 3 dash marks in between every 5 psi increment marker, so it actually makes it a little harder to read (every hash mark translates to 1.5psi). I am not sure why they chose to do that. I would actually be happy with the gauge if it would just read accurately.

what does the stri read at peak right now and what does it read off and idle. Pm me if you find no other way to get a 45 mm mechanical gauge.
