IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Well I'm getting sick of the not so amazing stock STi seats, so it's time to upgrade!!! , I realized I'll most likely get flamed but I have yet to find a thread that compares these seats for people of my stature. I was looking at the Bride Zeta III, Bride Brix II, Recaro, and Sparco Evo. Taking into granted I'm not your average person. I'm 5'11 yet I only weigh 135 lbs (yes this is the effect of running, but hey I'd rather be skinny than the alternative!!!) So please give me some insight on your opinion. Thanks in advance!!! | Iron Fisted | I absolutely love my Sparco Evo. It's really tight on me, but that's how I like it - I'm 6'3" 180 lbs FWIW. Bride may be a really good choice for someone with your stature...they are pretty damn narrow. No matter what you choose, I highly recommend sitting in all of your choices back to back (if possible) before you make your decision. None of these seats are cheap and you don't want to make the wrong decision. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (7) | Agreed with blindfold... try the seat if you can before you buy it and see if you'll feel comfortable in it. However, I didn't have that option, and I took my chances and just bought a Zeta III on the fly. Luckily, I am very happy with it. I'm 5'8, 135lbs, and have the standard size. I still feel a little bit of movement when I'm at the track, but it's okay since I daily drive the car also. Daily driving in a completely snug seat might not be so nice after a while. Good luck! |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | Well my Zetta III Type S just got here and I fit in it great. It's not too tight and the shoulder bolsters are not too short. I'm a litle taller than you so that would put the shoulder bolsters at the top points of your sholder, but not too high. If you want I'll try and get some pictures of me in it to give you an idea of how 6' 150lbs with a 30" waist fits. |
