STi Recaro Full Bucket Seats

Does anyone know if these fit in our cars? Just want to make sure before I spend my entire life's fortune on them. Thanks.

They should, seeing how they were posted in the '05 interior section. I would call JapanParts before you order them to make sure though.

how much do they weigh(how much do stock seats weigh?)

They fit. I was going to get them a year or so, but ended up not doing it. There is a guy on NASIOC who has them in his car. You will obviously need the mounting brackets to make them fit though. When i priced them out a year or so ago, it was something like $1600 shipped for seats + brackets.... that was before our dollar went to **** though.

BTW, i sat in them while i was in japan.., I'm 5'8" and about 135..., they were pretty snug on me.

Yeah, the $1600 is only for one seat too...

I'm assuming the brackets is what japanparts has listed as "base frame set"?

I'm 5'10 180 lbs. and gaining. I wonder how they will fit on me at this weight and when I hit 200 lbs...

Yikes, you'd have to be a super mega-JDM dork to spend that much money on that seat.

Yeah, that price included the base set and it was for only 1 seat... the part number from japanparts that you need is " 1007G-TEM-002 BASE FRAME SET " To get the seats to work.

I just sat in a sparco pro2000 over the weekend, and that was relativley loose on me. I was comfortable, but it def could have been tighter. So if that seat is snug on you, there is no way you will be able to fit into this seat. You should buy it though, that way when you dont fit into it, you can sell it to me for 1/2 the price
