I prefer the sphere. My shifting style is kind of ball-and-socket, so a piston or the 'sports' or "bird's head" style in the WRX isn't comfortable to me.

I mentioned in another thread that a black sphere with a blue shift pattern engraved would be pretty cool (if Chris can do blue). But if you're looking for something REALLY special, I'd talk directly with Chris since all of these are hand-made to order.

Received my WC Lathe Werks 2" aluminum sphere last night. Driving around today has convinced me it was a good choice.

THe "aluminum" trim around the shift boot and lower console goes will with the aluminum knob.

I like the piston, that's what I use on my car.

I might switch over to a sphere though down the line. The kartboy shifter in there now makes the piston sit just a little bit too low for me to shift normally in a day to day situation. It's very nice for great shifts in the twisties though!

That's my new Daily Driver. :P

Like I told WC, I'm VERY please with how it turned out. With the newly redesigned interior, (IMO), it gives it the look of a European super car.

The WC Lathewerks look sick!!

Personally, I'm considering getting Moonface knobs (the black one).. its JDM stuff :-

Not sure where they sell it in your area though.

I'll look thru the WC LatheWerks and maybe I'll find something nice there instead
