Unfortunately, I can not take credit- but my wallet can!

I watched the guys do it, and it's very similar to applying window tint sound deadening.

1. Cut to rough size.
2. Test fit and smooth out.
3. Figure out which end to start glueing.
4. Apply glue and smooth as you go.
5. Wrap excess around to back side and glue.
6. Let it dry.
7. Cut out slits for visor, lights, and clips and glue extra to the backside

And I think that was about all!

they sell a real good rattle can paint called fusion at walmart. autozone, etc.

works great on unprimed plastics. i would recommend it... just read the instructions.

goes something like this,

clean
paint
paint
paint
paint
let dry for a few days, install.

real easy stuff.. looks nice, GL

^Only problem with the plasticote type pant, is that it's not very flexable. So actuall usage of the handels will result in stretch marks and tears.

^Good point. Maybe some sort of dye or something would work instead...

Either way, it looks awesome. This was phase one...what are the other ones?

I think the fusion paint is a Dye type paint. If not, there is such a rattle-can paint out there. It's actually a plastic dye. It's out there, just gotta find it. But that should solve your problem with the handles.
