Default Interior DIY thread

I have seen things spread out all over the place. I am trying to get a single thread we can look to when someone comes up with a clever way to something in the interior section. I was thinking of things such as:

Door Cards
Head liner
Shift boots
Dash kits
ETC...........

I will start with my JDM dash setup.

From my standpoint as a moderator I'd like to discourage you from doing this. One thread, one topic, that's my motto. Just ping a moderator and let us collect them into the "Threads of Interest" for you.

Ok,

It looks like we could do this. I appreciate the moderator point of view. Seems we need to do some more work and leave little to the imagination as far as how to. I will forward any other DIY to a moderator.

Thanks
Scott

You would be better off setting up a Wiki on how to do all these mods. More organized and much easier to use and add to!

Well, nothing fancy, but just painted my interior trim. Still haven't changed out my radio with my DVD/NAV. Sorry...

Have to include one of the beast.

Let's see some more custom jobs people!

I'm sorry, but that looks pretty terrible. I would sand it down and try again. Looks like you orange peeled the paint or got dirt in it while painting.

Yeah, drove with it installed today and hate the texture. Have some textured paint. I'm going to use tonight. How do you remove you hvac knobs for paint? I was only able to pull them up about a half inch before they stopped.

Dude, I hope you repainted that good. That looked very very bad. If you ask me, use the bumper trimp paint since it doesn't scratch easy and it gives it a flat back look.

Finally, make sure you clean it well before painting because any dust etc. can lead to bubling up in hot conditions.
