Default rear defroster on stage1

Quick question:
Is the rear defroster affected in any way while you are running Cobb AP2 stage 1 (not LC, just plain stage 1 93)?
Yesterday for the first time I needed to clear my rear whindshild from ice and after one hour the ice was still there (just normal morning ice layer)
Any thoughs?
Thx!

I wouldn't think EM would have any effect on the defroster, although I must say mine doesn't work that well either. My old WRX had a monster rear defroster that could melt anything.

Thanks guys,
Now I got to find a way to move the thread to the Interior/Electric side of the forum!
On the other hand for an 07 that POS of defroster at least should make some scars in the ice. I'm debating if I need to take to the dealer or just follow the wires myself with a voltmeter!

Coming back to following the wires:
I got 6V DC at the middle. Then it tappers down to about 2V DC at the sides. The top part shows no voltage (looks like a different circuit). Is this normal for an 07?
I put also my hand and in the middle I can feel a slight warm sensation!

This is a prime example of why "search is your friend." I was going to ask about this today...

Anyway, two days ago was the first in the snow and I bet it took more than half an hour to clear my rear window with defrost. So they just suck?

I'd love to hear a reason why. I never had this problem with my WRX. Is there any difference between the glass used in the STi and glass in the WRX?

Really miss that wiper de-icer also. These are the only two things I wish I had in this car.

My STi deforster is serious. That thing will melt and amount of snow on it in a matter on minutes. I have never had a problem. Of course I also rain-x my rear window. Maybe that has something to do with it sticking to it.

I too wish we had heated side mirrors. I have trouble getting them clear.

^ I second the power of the '05 defroster. Never had a problem, and they quickly melted the worst snow and ice that Chicago threw at them.

However, my wife's '08 OBXT has wiper defrosters! I wish I had them when I lived in Illinois. Now in Florida, we don't need no stinkin' defrosters.
