IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (6) | i did the red light mod myself for my radio & hvac. i think it turned out really well, added extra leds on the hvac - only draw is that i still see the hot spots during dusk & just before daybreak. i know im probably being anal bout it, but i decided to send my hvac to be redone my pro's - cory @ interior flaire... interiour flaire, you should be getting it today, i sent you an e-mail about 2-daying it back to me since its freaking cold here in the midwest and just a little dangerous driving the car in snow without heat & defrosters ill post pics once i get it back! |

| Spec C Club | ![]() Here is a pic of my interior. It's a very bad pic but it shows the HVAC, window controls, and the IC switch done by Interior Flaire. He also did healight level switch but you can't see it in the pic since it's blocked by the steering wheel. I'm very happy with everything. I just wish my headunit is red... those damn green buttons are eyesore. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (17) | Yeah, I am just waiting on the snap-in lense piece from the vendor now. They had to order the material. Then I have to test it to be sure it is not going to be too dark. It doesn't take much to kill the clock in daylight. I checked on the injection molding route but it ended up being thousands of dollars for a mold and an initial buy. I could not justify the cost because then no one would pay what we would have to charge. The best we can do is the "removal of the center portion of the lense and replacing it with a precision cut piece of red (or blue) acrylic" method. I have done mine (see my vendor thread) and it looks great! CB |
