Hello Everyone,

I searched for premiums, but couldn't find decent information.

I am 28, married, own a home, have three cars through state farm (allroad, jetta and restored microbus). I plan on replacing the jetta with the STi, however insurance seems to be VERY high.

I have one ticket in the last three years, and my premium with a thousand dollar deductible is 177/month. Doesn't that seem high? I mean, that includes the married rate, multi-line rate, loyalty rates and I have been a licensed driver for over 12 years.

What gives? Can you guys post your rates? I am very curious! TIA.

I was paying $120 a month. That includes $15 extra fees, for auto pay and crap like that. Now that I bought a house it came down to about $100/month. I'm also not married which if I'm not mistaken, helps quite a bit.

Where do you live? I'd call around, I bet you'll be VERY suprised to see what you'll find.

I live in the bay area, Ca. I must have higher coverage, or lower deductibles or something.

Just call around. People never post all of the details of their policies on here, so you end up comparing apples to oranges. Just being in a large metro area means that your rates will be higher than anywhere more rural.

Default The immobilizer key..

Just curious...those ppl paying less than 1000 per 6 months...what state? or rural/city?

I mean NYC is pretty damn expensive...I'm almost embarassed to mention the cost for me for just 6 months...

Correct that...I am embarassed to mention how much it costs for me....

God, another reason to get out of California. High Insurance rates. The lowest I have found so far is with Progressive. They want $1458 for 6 months (that covers the allroad and the STi). That comes to an average of about $122 bucks per car, per month. I guess I can live with that:

$1000 deductible collision
$100 deductible comp.

100/300/50 BIPD
100/300 Uninsured
