24, Single, No tickets (actually, once in my life out of state, but it never came about on any personal records).
-North of Baltimore
-Esurance
-$500 Deductible
-$975 Six Month Premium (~162.50/Mo)

I know it's high, but better than others, but I'm hoping that it will go down considerably once I turn 25.

I am going with Progressive. It is $804 per 6 month period. I have one ticket (failure to comply...the bull**** ticket!) and one accident which they won't count against me cause I have legal proof it wasn't my fault. I am 27 and single in NY.

Geico SUCKS! I asked for a policy for my 05 STi and they gave me a quote...but since I didn't have my VIN I used another VIN from an identical 05 STi. Turns out when I went to give them the correct VIN (the day the car was in) they said "oh, your policy is for your old car." I was like WTF? Why? They said because they looked it up on the DMV records and used the VIN to my current car instread of the STi VIN that I gave them...so instead of 900 it would be 1100 for 6 months. They then said they see where the mistake was made but they can't honor the original price.

Dr. Quattro, that seems to be about par for what I would have figured insurance to be in CA. I am 24, married with two kids, and have two other cars (an '02 VDC Outback and a '98 Chevy metro) and my STI insurance with a $500 deductable costs about $700 every six months. I do own a house and I have one minor ticket two years old. My wife is from California and stuff like this is why she moved to Oklahoma.
