Default Any Insurance people out there?

Funny thing happend to me today, I called nationwide insurance for insurance quote on 06 wrx sti and they said $10,600+ no joke per year.. i was like wtf!? they also gave me a progressive quote which was about the same...

So i decide to call progressive directly (number from there website) and they gave me a resonable price according to my dmv record i gave them.
2950 6 months
490.94 first month

is nationwide trying to rip me off? they'll local branch, not direct nationwide...

also the progressive quote is based on my dmv record, they still need to get previous claim information.. if my claim record has like 1 or 2 accidents is that going to bring it up to 10,000?!+.. so confused here..

I called 21st century and was told that they don't have an STi listed at all. Anyone use them?

I just update my insurance and now pay $75/mo for the STi and my insurance agent said he can probably get me an even lower rate when a new program comes out here in the next couple of months.
