How much do you think insurance would cost for an eighteen year old male with one speeding ticket on his record 80 in a 55 (2 years ago)?

My guess would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $240 per month (~$1400/6 mos.) or more .... You won't be getting any break on that price for at least 4 or 5 years too!!

As a reference:
23 year old male, no tickets, safe driver discount, and SAE discount = (~1000 for 6 mos.)

Good luck man ......

STi high....looks like we are in pretty close to the same boat.

Me, 23
Wife, 25

And everything else the same except a few old tickets on my record I suppose.

Only problem....mine is higher than that. I really need to look around again.

Being married helps more than anything for us gusy.

Okay, well. . . being old does, too.

Default Subaru's detonation debacle!!

I belive my STi is about 450$ every 6 months....something like that. full coverage

I just turned 26, and have had 3 tickets in my life...none in the last 4+ years.

I called today and State Farm didn't have the VINs in the system still!!

Geico didn't either.

Why does it take so long.

They said the GD70 code, in the VIN, wasn't even in their books yet.

They quoted me a 1075 every 6 mos.

With a bad driving record, male age 26, mine is at $800 plus or minus a few bucks for a 6 month policy. Which is $78 more than when I had my 98 Dodge Dakota. I thought it would be worse, but I putting some money to the side for a while, just in case the insurance company figures out how crazy this car is.
