My insurance company (Progressive) called Monday and said that they had the "symbols" for the WRX STi finally. They made no change to my premiums, which were based on the 2003 WRX sedan.

Good news for me!

I called my insurance and they were able to give a quote based on the car specs. I was told that I would have to pay about $6 more a month than a WRX. As it turns out (and as I was told after placing a second call with the same question) the WRX and the STI fall in the same 'performance category' so they shouldn't differ in price at all. I have Allied insurance, BTW

I sure hope so, I live 800 miles away from where I bought my car. :P

Yes any Subaru dealership will do your warranty work.

My insurance will actually be cheaper with the STi than it has been with the Celica.

I dunno what the deal with the Celica is...but it is an insurance nightmare.
