It's hard to really answer that without knowing the limits you opted for.

For what it's worth, I pay $125 a month through Progressive with a $1000 no glass deductible and 100/300/100 coverage. My current policy spans my 25th birthday.

I have progressive, and I dont pay anywhere close to that. I know there are lots of things to consider for price. I have 100 deductibles with 300/300/300 with one accident and I pay 372 every 6/months.
are you going through an agent or dealing with progressive directly? It been my experience you get screwed dealing with them directly. Get a quote from a couple different agents. My rated were cut in half just by switching agents.

lol paid off 7500 bux in fines and tickets , credit sux " working on it " , last ticket in 06 driving a 90hp vw . the STi hits me for 215 a month with progressive which goes through baileys insurance " agent " . baileys goes by the offense date instead of the conviction date meaning its off your record faster . only ticket i have seen in the sti is a parking ticket .

somethings not right about this. I pay 135/month on progressive and I have one ticket and one accident. 26 y/o male in st. louis. I have a 500 deductible and the mid range for claims coverage. Included roadside assistance, rental car, etc etc. I was paying over 250/month with American Family prior to switching.

Progressive. $ 100/ month for my STi - I'm 28 live in Illinois. 1 speeding ticket in my 89 Celica All-Trac Turbo GT 1 year ago. Never been in an accident and no other tickets. $2500 deductible on that.

I have an 06 STi and I pay 252$ every 6 months for it listed as a recreational vehicle (it is). Its a 250/500 deductable and 100/300/100 I think on the coverages. I know I have the multi-car discount, the loyal customer discount, the over 25 and married discount and the home owner discounts going as well. guess they think I'm old and boring now so low risk. lol

Caution, Progressive farms out you're insurance. I had windshield that needed replacement and Progressive forced me into an aftermarket glass even though I had a quote for OEM glass, OEM mouling and installation for less $$ than what they ended up being billed. I got a quote for ~$500 ish and they where billed ~$900 ish. I found out later that they had farmed it out. So Prog. gets billed high, they bill the other insurance co. and keep the profit (assuming the glass co. is in it).

How long ago was this? I've made a few claims and they went very smoothly. I got the quote and they paid me cash. I fixed it or didn't, not their concern I guess.

Every since that huge lawsuit against state farm (google it) I've never been asked to accept anything other then OEM parts. Id be *SHOCKED* to see an insurance company suggest aftermarket parts to repair a car after a claim (for example, I had a radio stolen, and they quoted me a 400$+ bezel replacement, and I used a 50$ junk yard pull instead. but they paid for the OEM bezel). Obviously in that case if you got your radio stolen again I don't think they would be liable to replace the junkyard bezel with another 400$ OEM one, but I'm not sure.
