Default Cobb AP and Insurance

I've searched, but haven't found anything regarding engine management and insurance. Will having a Cobb AP cause an insurance claim to be denied?

This may apply to other forms of engine management or mods that increase power/performance as well.

depends on what the insurance claim is on i guess. The only time it should have an effect is if you were making a claim on the engine, but for that you usually go to the dealership (and there is a decent chance they would void your warranty if you had engine damage and an ap). I don't see how they could deny your claim if you were in an accident and you had the ap.

GEICO offers something called Mechanical Breakdown Insurance if you buy their insurance within having 15K on a new car... Maybe thats what hes talkin about... Its a warranty that covers the car up to 100K

I dont see you getting a claim denied for having an AP... anyway you could always flash back to stock before going in also.
