Default Any younger (17-20yo) guys here?? What are you paying?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there are any other 17-20 year old guys here. What are you guys paying for insurance?

Thanks, Nik!

I am guessing I will pay anywhere from $4000-$5000 a year. I have yet to look into insurance, but thats not going to hold me back from having the car. I have a 85 mustang that I am building right now (408w 550rwhp). That would cost a TON! But its going to be a drag car. I will be 18 in less than a month. If I was to go under my parents name I would end up with a lower cost, But I Would prefer to do it on my own. I have no tickets, or collisions.

Nik

Damn. I can't imagine, or justify $4k-5k a year in car insurance. That's just crazy.

ur nuts, I would put the thing under my parents name as long as I could and say all that additional money. Unless your parents are going to be tough about it and try to like take the car away from you or something.

sounds like you were the tailgating ass there.
if you couldn't stop as short, or shorter than the car in front of you, you were either too close, or not paying attention.

sorry, end of hijack

I'm 21 coming up on 22 soon. I pay 180/month with higher coverages (100/300) and have two cars on that policy, my 07 STi and my 99 Cougar. Completely clean record.
