Liability is generally the largest factor in car insurance, so how "safe" an area is has a larger impact than theft rates. Speaking of which it can vary from city to city, I moved about 15 miles once and dropped insurance by almost 30%.

04 STi, insurance slightly more than an 03 Evo, slightly less than an 02 S2000. Actual $$$ numbers aren't all that pertinent because of age, coverage and regional differences.

n/m stupid progressive just changed my rate, i was quoted 1200 for 6 months, but they changed it to 1750 for 6 months. well im not shopping for a new company.

$800/6 months for the STi and the Accord, one accident on record. I'm 27, male, single.

moving from downtown chicago to the far southwest burbs dropped my rate by $50

I was quoted $156 a month, through Safeco. 24 m clean record in Connecticut.
