NEED HELP!!! City sign....and my car

Well.... the other night I was driving on my way home and there were 3 huge strips of road cut out. I hit the first one hard and the the other 2 i dodged. I instanely started to freak out. The was no sign saying there was damage tot he roads or anything before nor after. Then couple meters after the road damage there a tiny sign about knee high in the middle of the road. I swerved and cliped it off my right bumber and rear door. The was a water line break the other night and the city just put a sign in the middle. It was -40 that night soo the whole road was an ice pond with a little sign in the middle with no reflectors nor, lights just a wooden contsrtuction sign. When i seen it i swearved on ice and just slide in to it. there was no way no one would have not it that. I looked on the side of the road there was already and other sign all destoryed, it looked like someon already hit that one. BUT...... i got pics and the sign in my trunk right now.... and I already called the cops. They say to go to SGI then next day and will notify the city for me.

MY questions is.... is this my fault?? should I get the city to pay for this?? or should i just fix it myslef and fcuk the city. I am sooo lost i dont know what to do...... its an 08 STi with 550kms ON IT, ITS BRAND NEW!!!!! ERRRR.... and i just totaled my 06 a couple months ago and i already been in an accident. I dont know what my insurance company is goin to think of me..

It sounds like you'll have to take a deep breath and wait to see what the city has to say.

That may have insurance that will cover any damage to your car.
