Default My insurance quotes...

I am 35 yr old male in midwest ohio, single and no kids, so so credit, and great driving record. Satefarm in my insurance company.

I am in the process of looking into a 07 STi or 07-08 Legacy Spec B. I am quite pleased what they told me it would be for 6 months of full coverage.

07 Spec B $340/6 months
08 Spec B $360/6 months

06 STi $430/ 6 months
07 & 08 STi $450/ 6 months

The Spec B was the same price as a GT.
The 08 STi was the same price as the 07 since there are no claims to report for the 08 to date. I am sure the 08 will be higher once there are more on the road and there are claims to be had.

My god! Time to run!

I am 31, single, good credit, 0 points and 0 accidents, and I pay ~550/year for my full coverage. 50k/100k with 50k property damage, and 100$ deductables.

WTF!?!?!? I turned 25 last year in march and my insurance for a 05 was $3300/ year (michigan) with Liberty mutual. I never had an accident but my driving record only has 15mph + speeding tickets on there, about 5 of them.

Nobody else at the time of the purchase wanted to insure me. I had quotes up in the $7000/year, and that with $1000 deductibles.

I jumped ship to Esurance soon after turning 25 and got $1450/year since most of my record cleared. However, I just "acumulated" 8 points on my license in the last 5 months. I want to curse really bad ... .

Anyhow, your quote is RIDICULOUS!!!!! My lawyer costs more than that PER ticket! But I guess that is what I get living in a "recession" state trying to make money off of traffic tickets.
