Default Replacement parts after meeting deer

I hit a deer this weekend and was wondering if any of you had stock parts repaced by aftermarket ones and funded by insurance. For example the behemoth of a deer I hit totally f'd my hood can I get a Carbon Fibre hood with insurance paying? They are about the same price as OEM. If I would just cover the difference if needed they couldn't argue that could they?

It varies by insurance company. FYI, CF hoods are mostly for looks. They're not much - if at all - lighter than the stock aluminum hood.

Just get a stock hood. Its not worth the fit and finish of some of the after market stuff. As for resale value goes the stock hood is more desirable.
