Nifty yes but also a bit ghetto looking with the 3 velcro circles on top. If there was a better way to make it stay its a perfect solution

I can't remember which forum I saw it on but one of the guys did this same thing but to the next level where he set the face back slightly in the din slot so he could fit it right in. I'll see if I can find it.

Another option would be to DOWNGRADE and not only disguise your headunit, but disguise it with something that is even less modern

For $60 someone is selling their old one with a tape-deck

Even less inviting of a target if you ask me since it's obviously older
