S203 Head Unit

Does anyone know what the head unit is in the S203?

I heard somewhere that it's a Minidisc player that the Japanese get (since MD is still popular in Asia and Europe).

For a classy look check out this unit from Pioneer. In addtion to its attractive profile, it has 3 way crossovers with bandpass, time alignment, 3 sets of pre-outs, 16 band EQ, aux-in, and SAT, USB and BT ready. Plus a ton of other capibilities. For a little under $300, not bad, really.

Then add a Forester DIN pocket for the OEM look

now i still dont understand what the us manufacuters were thinking when they put this blue/black combo..black all the way is so much sleaker..i wanna move to japan..haha
